tBuPO(NHiPr)2 is commonly used as a reaction catalyst and ligand in organic synthesis. It can participate in different types of organic synthesis reactions, such as: C- C bond formation reactions, hydrogenation reactions, oxidation reactions, etc. It exhibits high efficiency and selectivity in metal-catalyzed reactions.
Preparation Method:
tBuPO(NHiPr)2 can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. P(CH3)3 (trimethylphosphine) and 1-methyl ethyl magnesium bromide are reacted to obtain P(CH3)3(CH2CH2CH3).
2. P(CH3)3(CH2CH2CH3) is reacted with methyl ethyl magnesium bromide to form P(CH3)3(CH2CH2CH2CH3)2.
3. Finally, P(CH3)3(CH2CH2CH2CH3)2 was reacted with aminoisopropanol to give tBuPO(NHiPr)2.
Safety Information:
tBuPO(NHiPr)2 is stable under normal conditions, but may decompose under high temperature, high pressure or defective operation. In the use and storage process, need to pay attention to the following safety matters:
-Avoid eye and skin contact, wear protective gloves and goggles when using.
